Its rigid LX frame makes a stable structure which holds the control panel, engine, and the sawmill head. As with all LX machines, the LX250 head is mounted on xFRAME mast, which moves smoothly along TWIN RAIL bed powered by two powerful electric feed motors (0,75 KW each). The head features a smooth up/down movement by using 2 chains moving along the masts.

The modular bed consists of 3 sections (1,85 m each) offering the total length of 5,55 m with the possibility of further extension for sawing longer logs. Logs are tightly secured on the bed with 3 side supports, 2 manual clamps and a few raised cross bed sections allowing for easy log loading by a forklift.

For the ease of operation and increased production capabilities, all controls of the sawmill are fitted into operator panel with SW10 Setworks installed in it. From this unit the operator can control the up/down movement of the head and the forward/reverse movement with a variable speed feed system. In front of the operator, on the electric box, there’s also an ammeter showing the current load of the main motor, which is helpful while cutting large diameter logs. With this feature, the operator can adjust the sawing speed and control the blade wear and quality of produced lumber.

Cutting large logs requires longer blades, that’s why the LX250’s head is compatible with 547 cm long and 32-35 mm wide sawmill blades. The LX250 sawmill includes an electric blade guide arm and a hydraulic blade tensioning system for better sawing performance.

The rigid xFRAME holds the control panel, the motor, and the sawmill head. Thick steel is used throughout the bed and the sawmill feet are bolted directly to the bed rails, reducing stress on the frame. Loading logs with a forklift is made easier with raised bed rails, reducing impacts from dropping or rolling the logs onto the sawmill.

Thin-kerf technology used in the LX50 is the most ecological way of cutting lumber and provides a very high yield. Using up to 1,07 mm blades requires minimal engine power to cut all types of wood. Electricity and petrol consumption is minimal.

Twin post frame is very stable, which ensures that maximum precision of cut is acquired. Quality of cut is as high as in any other Wood-Mizer sawmill. You will be able to cut wood for your own needs as well as for sale. LX50 throat size will allow you to produce a wide variety of products – with a maximum cant with of 40 cm.

Manual lubrication system and cloth pad keeps the blade, wheels and guide rollers clean from sawdust and pitch. In combination with manual blade guide arm and tension system, it eliminates any extra blade vibrations, that ensures precise cut every time.

Connecting LX50 to a sawdust extractor will make it easier to keep your place of work tidy and safer. 4” standard extraction port is compatible with majority of sawdust collection systems.

The LX50 cuts logs up to 66 cm in diameter and 3.8 m long with the standard bed. In order to cut longer logs, bed extensions can be added to extend the sawmill bed to any required cutting length. 1.53 m extensions are available to order optionally. 14 HP four stroke Kohler engine is very efficient and doesn’t produce a lot of noise or fumes for work outside. 5 kW 3 phase electric motor achieves it’s maximum productivity and is ideal for work in a small workshop.

The mechanical design of the battery-powered sawmill is based on the recognized and well-proven LT15 sawmill series, additionally enhanced with Smart Power Feed, power up/down, and the upgraded Setworks with new functions.

Similarly to other LT15CLASSSIC WIDE sawmills, the battery powered-sawmill can process logs up to 90 cm in diameter with a cutting width of 88 cm. It is built on a modular sawmill bed that allows for sawing the logs with a length of 5.4 m. The LT15 Battery-Powered Sawmill features an innovative Smart Power Feed technology that automatically adjusts cutting feed rates to wood species, log size, and blade conditions. The trailer package is designed for the sawmills with an S3 bed configuration. Sawmillers, choosing the LT15CLASSIC Mobile, will get a 1300 kg gross weight and 8.3 m long trailer package. The trailer package includes an axle and wheels, a hitch with a support wheel, braking mechanism, 8 adjustable legs, a light bar, side positioning lights and fences. Optionally the trailer can be equipped with log-loading ramps and a winch.

The mobile version of the LT15CLASSIC has been designed for a modified S3-type bed featuring standard 6 side supports and 3 manual log clamps. To adopt the bed for the trailer, the new MOBILE version has been upgraded with stronger and stiffer connections between the bed sections and all electrical wiring has been placed inside the bed. The LT15CLASSIC Mobile sawing head has been adapted to make it safe for transportation and now it features a special security pin that holds it firmly to the bed.

The LT15CLASSIC Mobile can be optionally fitted with a bigger and wider redesigned operator panel which includes SW10 Setworks.
