Thin-kerf technology used in the LX50 is the most ecological way of cutting lumber and provides a very high yield. Using up to 1,07 mm blades requires minimal engine power to cut all types of wood. Electricity and petrol consumption is minimal.

Twin post frame is very stable, which ensures that maximum precision of cut is acquired. Quality of cut is as high as in any other Wood-Mizer sawmill. You will be able to cut wood for your own needs as well as for sale. LX50 throat size will allow you to produce a wide variety of products – with a maximum cant with of 40 cm.

Manual lubrication system and cloth pad keeps the blade, wheels and guide rollers clean from sawdust and pitch. In combination with manual blade guide arm and tension system, it eliminates any extra blade vibrations, that ensures precise cut every time.

Connecting LX50 to a sawdust extractor will make it easier to keep your place of work tidy and safer. 4” standard extraction port is compatible with majority of sawdust collection systems.

The LX50 cuts logs up to 66 cm in diameter and 3.8 m long with the standard bed. In order to cut longer logs, bed extensions can be added to extend the sawmill bed to any required cutting length. 1.53 m extensions are available to order optionally. 14 HP four stroke Kohler engine is very efficient and doesn’t produce a lot of noise or fumes for work outside. 5 kW 3 phase electric motor achieves it’s maximum productivity and is ideal for work in a small workshop.

Cutting height is adjusted by a crank.

The LX50 sawmill series are the most compact and budget-friendly Wood-Mizer machines for processing logs into lumber individually. Their popularity results from the perfect connection of simple design and proven mechanical solutions, combined with the quality and durability characteristic of legendary Wood-Mizer sawmills. The LX50 series is ideal for novice sawyers and hobbyists who expect efficient and precise wood processing for their own needs.

The LX50SUPER sawmill allows users to process logs up to 66 cm in diameter and a maximum length of 3,70 m, which can be customized to meet user needs by expanding the bed with additional segments measuring 1,53 m each.

In the LX50SUPER sawmill, the standard bed equipment includes two folding side supports adjusted on a rod, 2 log clamps, six cross-sections with reinforcements, and adjustable legs. Various accessories can be ordered for the sawmill, including bed extension segments, additional supports and clamps, log loading ramps, a wedge for compensating log taper, and a cant hook.

The operation of the LX50START sawmill is ergonomic and intuitive – the operator manually adjusts the sawhead height using a crank and smoothly moves the sawhead along the bed on rollers. The LX50START sawmill features a blade cleaning system with a manual valve and a blade tensioning system based on a screw with an indicator. The blade guide rollers ensure the stability of the blade, allowing for precise cutting.

The LX50SUPER sawmill utilizes a Kohler G14 (14 HP) gasoline engine or an EH5 (4 kW) electric motor. Kohler engines, renowned for their high operational quality and reliability, are employed for superior sawmill performance.
