Resaw cants and boards into two or three pieces with each pass with the HR250 horizontal band resaw! Designed for high-production lumber and pallet board operations, the HR250 features two horizontal bandsaw blades within one compact head which is ideal for resawing cants, boards, or stressed material. Powered by two 15 kW saw wheel motors, the HR250 is built to last with heavy-duty construction, premium components, and 710 mm diameter dynamically balanced steel band wheels.

Control panel with digital setworks controls blade position and ensure accurate height positioning of the saw wheels when setting cut thickness. Each blade has its own setworks panel and is controlled and run independently using the digital controls or manual up/down buttons. Once the blades are adjusted for the cut, the blade is engaged and material is fed through the machine. Cants and boards up to 400 mm wide and 250 mm high are placed onto the rugged, electric driven conveyor belt with a variable feed adjustment from 5 to 25 meters per minute for optimal processing of various sized and type of material. Pneumatic hold down rollers and an idle top roller keep material secure as it moves through the machine. Material is continually fed through the machine until processing is complete. Blade tension is automatic in order to maintain proper tensioning for longer blade life.

Horizontal resaw HR115

The HR115 horizontal resaw comes standard with more features and power for higher productivity up to 20 metres per minute.

Quickly process cants up to 400 mm wide into standard sized timber with the HR115. Maximum cutting height is 280 mm. Head height is adjusted electrically, and optional setworks are available. The variable belt speed is adjustable depending on the material being cut – up to 20 metres per minute.

Two standard hold-down rollers keep cants steady during cutting. In-feed and out-feed roller tables, as well as a side roller table facilitate material handling, as well as returning uncut cants for another pass. To produce tapered products such as house siding, the head easily adjusts from 0° – 8°.

For the budget-minded business, the HR110 delivers excellent capacity and features. Head height is adjusted manually with a hand crank. The belt speed can be adjusted up to 25 metres per minute depending on the material being cut. Hold-down rollers keep cants steady during cutting. In-feed and out-feed roller tables are included. A side roller table facilitates returning uncut cants for another pass.

To produce tapered products such as house siding, the head angle adjusts from 0° – 8°.
